SO I think its safe to say everyone's seen Avengers at this point and since there's been some new people dragged into the madness that is here, I figured it would probably be smart to toss up a plotting post or a general character info post for wherever we are as of now to babble since plurk gets long and rambly and isn't always the best format for doing this. So feel free to drop a comment in here with your character and maybe what they're involved in or what you'd like them to be involved in and then grab other people for ALL THE TAGS. Because yeah, this musebox is kinda good for that. XD

Plotting for Tony and Fury

Okay, so what I know is happening: Tony is currently being called on by SHIELD to figure out some way to contain Loki. This is going to involve trying to scan Asgardian energy readings, right up until Thor breaks everything in his lab and Tony banishes him forever. :| He's also going to be figuring out that SHIELD seems to be gathering a lot of big guns, so he's going to wonder if the Avenger's Initiative is on, and how to convince SHIELD they need Iron Man on it.

In terms of Zalia's character Yas, Tony's going to be the one calling SHIELD to come fetch him after Yas breaks into his lab. Yas will be joining Thor on the banned list.

And I am up for anything! Seriously, have at me. Tony wants to mock you all. Except Bruce. He wants to mock Bruce, but also be his science bro.

How many sammiches can one man want? ;_; More seriously, the interaction between Tony and Brandon's been fun for me, and I'd like to continue it. Brandon is good for the mocking! And they could perhaps work on ways to contain Loki or things along those lines, as well.

Okay, so two things that I've thought about for Tony.

One is that Agent Ginna is going to give Tony a piece of very interesting tech. I just need to decide what it appears to do versus what it really does, but I HAVE IDEAS. So does that sound amusing?

And then the other thing is just to note that some eccentric Australian zillionare has started buying controlling interests in a lot of large, multinational companies. This is probably something Pepper would notice more than Tony, but there are rumors said mysterious Australian zillionare is setting his sights on Stark Industries. :3

And now for the other guy.

Fury is currently being Fury. He's in charge of everything, and trying to fix the utter mess that has come out of New Mexico, on top of all the other crap he has to do. SHIELD is also working on Phase 2, although that might need to happen in New York at this point, since I think that's where the tesseract is? However people want to handle that.

He's debriefing Thor and Sif (which I need to post to, but I think we can potentially wrap up soon?), but he's open for anything official and worthy of his attention. That means don't come to him with stupid things.

Clint has just gotten back from several weeks out on various ops, the latest of which was a rather disastrous stint in New Mexico with Thor's crew and had him running afoul of Loki in an escapade his buddies are never going to let him live down. Ever. He escorted Thor, Sif, Jane and Darcy back to SHIELD HQ and is now settling back in to 'normal' life.

...Which consists of trolling SHIELD agents, being stealthy about HQ and sharing an apartment with Bucky Barnes and the newly awakened Steve Rogers. At least until this Avengery thing actually kicks off.

He is seriously open for anything because Clint is probably the babbliest of my kids and enjoys dropping in on anyone and everyone unexpectedly. And usually literally. XD

Sif

(yes I know this is not Sif's journal, she's much prettier, no matter what Clint says. deal with it.)

Sif is actually here on Midgard for this AU because she broke a lot of rules and followed Thor to earth when she found out from Heimdall that Loki was possibly here. In exchange, there's a good chance she's stuck here, at least for the foreseeable future although her reasons are her own.

She actually showed up shortly after Thor arrived the second time but struck out on her own in search for Loki, hoping maybe she'd have some luck finding him. Which she did, since she grew up almost inseparably with the princes and would have followed them anywhere.

Where Thor is her closest friend and in some ways the most like her, her relationship with Loki's a little different and they've danced around a secret attraction for each other for a few centuries now. Secret because Asgardians are SO GOOD about talking about their feelings. :|

Anyway, she's here to help protect Thor and watch his back and try and make further contact with Loki. Since there are terrible things wrong with the world when the brothers are fighting and since she can't exactly bash their heads together, she's still working on Plan B.

She doesn't have much lined up right now other than hanging around HQ with Thor and the NM crew and being fascinated by mortals and all their crazy gadgets, but she would definitely welcome some interaction.

Natasha

I haven't picked up Natasha in here yet mainly because I already have Clint and I don't want to hoard Avengers haha. I'd also love to play out a relationship WITH Clint and Tasha since their chemistry was so much fun in the movie and their backgrounds are so twisty and often explosive.

But at the same time I don't MIND channeling them both since they can play off each other pretty easily in my head, so if someone would like her for a plot or needs her for something, feel free to poke me and I will volunteer her presence. :)

Ooh, I'm definitely excited to get involved in all of the plotting, yes. :) I'm Jade, and I play this cute li'l guy, Brandon Young. He's a specialist who's worked at SHIELD for a little bit, and now he's one of the founding members of SHIELD's PsiOps division. He's a telepath, and I've whipped up a brief explanation of his powers in his journal. History is still in the works.

Basically, Brandon's a people pleaser (comes from being formerly a pretty powerful telepath and thus wanting people to think happy thoughts around him,) and a generally good guy who has to do not-so-tasteful things for SHIELD. Like re-brainwashing Bucky, oops. As a result of some experimentation, now his powers are a lot broader than the average psychic, but they're also a lot weaker. Thus he needs a psychic amplifier to do most of what he does, and this leaves him with no end of frustration.

As for what he's involved in and all that... well, that's kinda what I want to open him up to. He's an OC, and thus he doesn't have the framework that canon characters have. So I want to have interactions with everyone, to see how it plays out and how things go. Likewise, since he's part of a new division, I kinda want to play with that and get him involved with things that are going on. ALL OF THE THINGS!

So yeah, hope you all will put up with my guy, and I'm definitely eager to see how things can go. :)

Heck, this might be the motivation for Loki to be like whoops covert identity is compromised time to blow shit up. XD

Zalia here with her OC, Yas Evistere. He's an information thief specialising in technology. He has a kind of machine empathy which meas tech really likes him, and is also the psychic equivalent of catnip.

He is going to be breaking into Tony Stark's lab and getting into things he really shouldn't be getting into. The fact that he could get in there at all ad his technomancy, is what gets him noticed by SHIELD.

He's a generally nice guy, a little messed up since he's basically been sponsored by a criminal group for most of his life. Hates politicking and prefers people to just be blunt rather than dancing around a topic. He likes all things technological.

I just want to have him interact with all the people! So yeah, up for whatever you like!

This is what I've got for him so far:

- He's going on a date with Bucky at some point.

- He left a puzzle with Sif she needs to figure out.

- Soon he's going to blow up some shit and steal some shit and be a general nuisance. For nefarious(?) purposes I'm not telling any of you.

- He's apparently Pepper's gay BFF. It's a most cunning disguise.

That's about all I've got right now. GIVE ME PLOTS, PEOPLE.

Coulson has been doing ALL THE DEBRIEFS. He picked up the NM crew with Fury, debriefed Clint.

Currently:

- Doing a flashback with Coulson and Brandon brainwashing Bucky
- Gonna hop in on Steve/Tony soon for Consulting Day
-> Depending on how that goes he might get his trading cards signed later in the thread

Otherwise he'll be around doing SHIELD Agent things and scolding everyone for catering to Tony Stark. You're not here to fetch sandwiches for him, guys. :|

Bucky's been basking in the warm glow of Steve's continued existence idk? He's been trying to help Steve adjust/passing off books and such that Clint got for him/giving him his space/whatev.

Currently:

- He's having the weirdest breakfast with Clint and Steve

Plans:

- He's got a date with Agent Ginna at some point
- He and Clint are dragging the NM crew around New York which Bucky is totally inviting Steve to because he should get out and make friends and stuff. COURT is that okay? Steve can opt out if he really wants to. (BUT STEVE AND THOR CAN MEET THO.)
- Bucky is clearly the hardest worker at SHIELD, you guys
- He's already been remembering bits and pieces of the Winter Soldier stuff, very infrequently, usually nightmares. If either of his flatmates want to play with that, holla at me bros.
