Loki went stiff for a moment, eyes going wide, and then as quickly as it had happened the expression was gone. He turned to face his brother, a look of polite interest on his face. "Fancy meeting you like this," he said, his tone mild, with just the right amount of added bewilderment. "Have I been avoiding you? I've simply had a lot of details to see to since my return. I'm very sorry if I've given you the wrong impression because of it."
