Loki sighed, just a little too theatrically. "Everyone always assumes the worst of me. Are you certain you did not leave them somewhere, perhaps when you were changing into clothes better suited for training?" He smoothed the front of his tunic down with one pale hand. "Why would you need them, anyway?"

It was a question of many meaning. He couldn't remember if there was something going on this evening, though he had an unpleasant feeling there was, which meant being on his best behavior and having to try to wash the ink from his fingers. But also, he didn't quite understand why Sif persisted in dressing as a girl when it plainly made her miserable. No doubt her parents had something to do with it, but he found it surprising she didn't just rebel against that the way she did everything else.

And, well, he thought her hair quite pretty enough without adding frilly things to it as well. It just didn't look right.
